Resources

The library’s resources have been growing steadily since 2010.  At present, the library has a collection of about 60,000 volumes of books and 5,603 academic journals.  1,734 thesis/dissertations, and several audio-visuals and government publications. In addition, the library has secured access to several databases and e-resources. Other special materials are: Afro-Brazilian and Chinese collections, publishing books and reading in sub-Saharan Africa (PB&RSSA) and Abiola Irele collections.

ICT facilities/equipment available are 300 thin-client devices, 300 monitors, 3 servers, 1 book drive scanner, 3-in-1 computer, 21 desktop computers, projectors, projector stand, scanners, DSTV dish, LED Tv etc.

Other facilities available in the library include: Theft detection machines, OPAC, Internet, Journal display racks, photocopy machines, bindery, shelves kick stands, trolleys, computers, laptops, fridges, air conditioners, televisions, printers, scanners, projectors, book guides, car park, archive and documentation.
